This week we had to generate textures in order to implement them on a scene. I struggled with this task more than I would like to admit and I stayed awake till 3am to try and get everything to work. The walls and the door are all made with photographs I took of real life textures. I even visited a church to try and get some authentic old stone for the walls. I used substance a tad to help me with creating other maps such as ambient occlusion and also for metallic and roughness textures.
I struggled most with the window as I didn't understand how to have a glass texture. That was the main reason I wanted to paint over the scene and show more of how I wanted it to look like.
