Week 1: 2 Point Perspective

Week 1: two-point perspective. This week I was tasked with generating a scene of an entity of my choosing destroying a city. I decided on an alien/robot contraption that was destroying the city. With this image, I tried to focus on creating a focal point using both colour theory as well as creating a city within a two-point perspective. After finishing this piece I realise that the bottom right-hand corner has a lack of detail and this is rather unnecessary with the piece but I think that without this added space it may cramp up the drawing more as everything is rather crowded within the piece. I wanted this effect but with the lack of negative space, it may overwhelm the viewer. Having this space means that everything can look more within its own space. I think that with the perspective I need to focus on making more varied shapes and showing more depth by possibly incorporating another point perspective. This image could be 3 point perspective but I didn't consider that when designing the image.
